I think the existing PRs are very close to ready to pull in. If you think a small delay in rename is acceptable, I will accelerate those pulls and then the rename can be performed more cleanly.

I'm kind of undecided. We only have a few right now. I'm sure that tool is highly necessary for repos that have dozens of PRs (and more coming in all the time). I think we can afford to do it sooner, "by hand" but it would definitely be better to do so with an empty PR queue. That link is still useful one way or the other, as it lists steps to take even if performing manually.

Aye, Captain. Course laid in. The branch "master" has been renamed to "main", however two steps remain:
Change the repository default branch to "main" (which must be done in the "Settings" tab of GitHub, which I do not have access to), and then a final delete of the residual master branch here in github. Would you do the honors, @joernweissenborn ?

I changed the default branch to main. I leave deleting of master to you, we should wait a week or so so collaborators can adept smooth.

BTW: Since I just sit make decisions and comment nowadays, the proper way to address me would be admiral, right captain @jrwarwick ? :D
