Enhancement on material system in SORT about sort HOT 7 CLOSED

Added layered BSDF.

Added fourier BXDF.

There have been lots of improvements over the past few weeks.

• Real bsdf based material system exposed in blender
• Predefined materials, like Glass, Plastic, etc.
• Several bug fix in multiple BSDF
• Support Disney BRDF
• Glass rendering is very smooth now

Future plan for my material system

• Support normal map
• More materials, maybe I need to investigate some other renderers.
• Polish the material system code from higher level, maybe a better design
• Better texture support ( I'm gonna create new issue specifically for this. )
• Some complex scene to show different materials

• More elegant python code for material node system

Future plan for material system

• Check mitsuba material system

Progress:

• Coating BRDF is supported now. It can coat any other material supported in SORT
• There will be error hint if it is set up wrong in the material editor

Future plan

• Check Mitsuba and Tungsten renderer.
• There will be stronger typing check between link in the future
• Re-degisn c++ material node implementation to support strong type check while still keeps the flexibility and performance.

• Better importance sampling for coat BRDF
• Strong type check between material nodes ( both in sort and blender )

Future plan:

• Add unit test for BRDF to ensure its correctness
• Better importance sampling for AshikhmanShirley model. Maybe take some ideas from coat BRDF.

Material system has been greatly enhanced in the past few months.
I decided to move on to work on other things.
