the site was basically completely down (it's somewhat up now), the tool already retries and more people hitting it won't make it come back faster.

Just found a corresponding ticket in the Jenkins JIRA: https://issues.jenkins.io/projects/INFRA/issues/INFRA-2808
The infamous INFRA-2393 has also been reopened: https://issues.jenkins.io/projects/INFRA/issues/INFRA-2393
So maybe tackling a different aspect of the problem: I understand this CLI can't be held responsible for the unavailability of the underlying Jenkins upload infrastructure. But is there maybe a way to make the tool more resilient, in terms of timeout and retry tuning? I couldn't find any of those options in the help.
