1.574 and 1.576 have not been pushed to dockerhub as official images (see https://registry.hub.docker.com/_/jenkins/), just 1.583, 1.584 and 1.585. So I don't know where you get them from.

Try running :

➜ docker run -it jenkins:1.583 --version
Running from: /usr/share/jenkins/jenkins.war
webroot: EnvVars.masterEnvVars.get("JENKINS_HOME")
1.583

got it : for earlier releases; @michaelneale did use a "short name" for LTS alias
this collides with weekly : see a5bfd41

Yes this was an accident of mine. I corrected it some time ago but for some
reason it wasn't removed from the binary repo (by default nothing is
removed).
