kohsuke:

This issue is reported to OSUOSL and we are waiting for their resolution.

The ticket is "support.osuosl.org #18445 AutoReply: MariaDB binary logging problem" and the text is as follows:

----------

The users of JIRA are reporting a problem, which basically shows the
following error:

com.atlassian.jira.exception.DataAccessException:
org.ofbiz.core.entity.GenericEntityException: while inserting:
[GenericEntity:RememberMeToken][id,10092][username,pjdarton][created,2011-02-03
13:43:32.159][token,a1485524fa8a0ecb8159c61afe889e8604c81da7] (SQL
Exception while executing the following:INSERT INTO remembermetoken (ID,
CREATED, TOKEN, USERNAME) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?) (Binary logging not
possible. Message: Transaction level 'READ-COMMITTED' in InnoDB is not
safe for binlog mode 'STATEMENT'))

According to the vendor of JIRA (Atlassian), this is caused by a bug in MySQL. They have some documentation to that effect at [1,2]. The suggested solution calls for setting the logging mode to row-based. Is that something that can be made to db4.osuosl.org?

I've discussed this a bit with Ramereth on IRC. The log is below:
