aliments icon aliments

Build a app that allows users to compare options of dining in or dining out. Gives users a fast curated list of the best dining options for the category of food options they asked for nearest to them.

bamazon icon bamazon

Creating an Amazon-like storefront with the MySQL skills you learned this unit. The app will take in orders from customers and deplete stock from the store's inventory. As a bonus task, you can program your app to track product sales across your store's departments and then provide a summary of the highest-grossing departments in the store.

burger icon burger

Create a burger logger with MySQL, Node, Express, Handlebars and a homemade ORM (yum!). Be sure to follow the MVC design pattern; use Node and MySQL to query and route data in your app, and Handlebars to generate your HTML.

clicky-game icon clicky-game

For this assignment, you'll create a memory game with React. This assignment will require you to break up your application's UI into components, manage component state, and respond to user events.

ecom-demo icon ecom-demo

Simple e-commerce for socks made with Gatsby, Snipcart and DatoCMS

friendfinder icon friendfinder

Friend Finder App implements friend matching based on the user's responses to a ten question survey. In my app I simulate athletes user responses to questions with values from 1 (Strongly Disagree) to 5 (Strongly Agree).

googlebooks icon googlebooks

Created a new React-based Google Books Search app. Used Node, Express and MongoDB so that users can save books to review or purchase later.

liri-node-app icon liri-node-app

In this assignment, you will make LIRI. LIRI is like iPhone's SIRI. However, while SIRI is a Speech Interpretation and Recognition Interface, LIRI is a Language Interpretation and Recognition Interface. LIRI will be a command line node app that takes in parameters and gives you back data.

mongo-news-scrapper icon mongo-news-scrapper

This app scrapes news articles from the New York Times World section and lets the user leave comments on the latest news.

sequelizedburger icon sequelizedburger

Creating a sequelize the Burger app that I made last unit. We've split this exercise into three different tiers, all with different tasks and expectations. Finish whichever tier will provide you with the most reasonable challenge.
