Great point, thank you! I believe I've made this change as you suggest. Can you please confirm?
Thanks very much,

Jay,
The wording looks good. The way it's written in Robert's Rules seems to suggest making mention of a parliamentary authority a separate article (in the example bylaws given on p. 588, the article is called "Parliamentary Authority" and it is placed immediately before "Amendment of Bylaws").
I suspect that the reason Robert's Rules advocates for this arrangement is that they note that special rules of order may be adopted in addition to a parliamentary manual. In Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised, 11th ed., p. 17, ll. 11-18, it is noted that:
Any special rules of order should be adopted separately from the bylaws and should be printed in the same booklet with, but under a heading separate from, the bylaws. Although rules in the nature of special rules of order are sometimes placed within the bylaws -- as occurs most frequently when a society prescribes its own order of business -- such an arrangement is less desirable, since it may lead to cases of uncertainty as to whether a particular rule can be suspended.
This quote suggests that if special rules of order are contained within the bylaws, it is preferred to list them as sections within an article entitled "Parliamentary Authority", in which case the quote supplied in the original post in this thread would be Section 1 of that article.
