💬 Hi there, my name is John Traas but my friends call me Jays

I'm a Software Engineer at Lime Technologies.

💬 I have a great affinity for all things UX/UI and design related. The logic of back-end fascinates me. I love exploring new technologies and learning. I am open to all possibilities.

I've been lucky enough to have traveled a large portion of the world while pursuing my passion for Music and Design in Tech.

• 🔭 I've also worked as a Developer and Tutor at Code Institute as well as a mentor and facilitator for teams participating in the Code Institute Hackathons Code Institute Hackathons. I am working on My Portfolio which will be my personal site and I took part in Hacktober Fest contributing four successful PR's to Code Institute Hackathon App for experience, and the fun of collaborating with fellow coders.

• 🌱 At the moment I am learning : .Net C#, building API's with Flask and Python, building frontend clients with TypeScript and StencilJS.

• 😵 I'm often found being continuously both bamboozled and fascinated by code (it's all part of the fun though! 😄 )

• 🎵 I'm also a founder/musician/songwriter/producer with Contrast Parity and guitarist with Darwiche as well as a founder/musician/songwriter with Freds Suitcase (site not up yet).
