Cannot create project using javafx-basic-archetype about javafx-maven-plugin HOT 5 CLOSED

Are you using Maven3?

Try this:
mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeGroupId=com.zenjava -DarchetypeArtifactId=javafx-basic-archetype -DarchetypeVersion=1.3

Not really sure what the difference is but this one works for me whereas I get the same error as you using the command you put up.

I added the parameters -DgroupId=someValue -DartifactId=someValue -Dpackage=someValue and the project was created thanks for the quick reply.
