Editing embed with image in it causes image to reload. So if you update the embed every X time users gonna complain that image is "flickering".

I don't think they'd really care, and since it only edits every 10 or so seconds (if not less) it probably won't be an issue

I really do need an image, how about not an embed, but a clickable link to the image I store in google drive or something? I have been posting right after the giveaway announcement, a link to the image. I'll store it myself, I would just like to be able to point to it... Is that possible?

You can upload the image on some websites like google drive, imagur, etc. And then in prize you can set the link of image
