This change to _st_pgsql_put_guts() may be responsible:

-                            sprintf(cval, "%d", (int) val);
+                            sprintf(cval, "%ld", (long int) val);

The database expects a 32-bit signed integer.

Sure is.
storage/object.c:145 stores an int not long int in there and :314 returns an int.
