I have seen this issue for this plugin as well both in this repo automated installation tests (see e.g.: https://cirrus-ci.com/task/5972984285364224 on my fork) or trying to install it manually.
Think the issue here is this post_install plugin line happening too fast: https://cirrus-ci.com/task/5972984285364224 because it didn't seem to have changed anything in my sabnzbd.ini config file.
