Hi,
Can you check if the sound works when installing it via deb package?
Just get the package from https://github.com/IsmaelMartinez/teams-for-linux/releases/tag/v1.4.37 .
This is probably a OS configuration issue rather than us, so maybe some libraries aren't configured properly (maybe a OS update messed up with your libraries).
Hope helps
from teams-for-linux.
i picked the tarball teams-for-linux-1.4.37.tar.gz from https://github.com/IsmaelMartinez/teams-for-linux/releases/tag/v1.4.37
i unpacked it in /opt2 and launched it from shell
when i tried a call i had no audio as before
when i launch teams inside chrome audio is working

if you have config.json
can you paste the content here?
from teams-for-linux.
i checked for a file named config.json every where on the laptop without success
in which directory should this file be located ?
from teams-for-linux.
I'm not able to find any version of Chromium that would be working on latest Ubuntu KDE.
Probably that is the case...
Not sure how difficult is switching teams-for-linux (or making an option) from Chrome to other browser...
EDIT: I found that KDE muted Chrome, that was the reason...

Which package are you using?
from teams-for-linux.
i am using google-chrome from this repo https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64
recently company updated corporate teams to latest version so teams is no more working correctly
when launched inside firefox
teams is yet only working correctly when launched from chrome
from teams-for-linux.
I mean which package of teams-for-linux
I believe snap
. so could be related to snap can you try flatpak
or deb
package?
from teams-for-linux.
since i am on opensuse i can not use deb package, but i installed directly the tar ball
teams-for-linux-1.4.37.tar.gz from
https://github.com/IsmaelMartinez/teams-for-linux/releases/tag/v1.4.37
and had the same problem, so it is not snap related because direct launch fail the same way
/opt2/teams-for-linux-1.4.37/teams-for-linux --webDebug --appLogLevels=error,info,warn,debug
as show before
