The referenced ticket was resolved upstream! 💯
mybinder w/ Python/R is working:
mybinder Rstudio had some trouble starting

After day 1, this wasn't necessary. I think one person could've used it as they were having issues with installing R. But, otherwise this is a nice to have after day 1.
