How to specify that videos from a separate domain are to be included when adding a site with brozzler-new-site? about brozzler HOT 4 CLOSED

Actually the issue seems to be not with brozzler but that youtube-dl isn't able to extract the videos. Sort of strange seeing how they are just plain <video> and <source> tags :S

Actually it's not even plain <source> tags. Those are added by JavaScript on that page. Which makes me think of something and I'll open a separate issue for it.

The answer to your question somewhat depends on additional details about the site but most likely what you need to do is add a scope rule to scope in example.s3.amazonaws.com. So write a job.yml like this:

---
seeds:
- url: https://example.com/
scope:
  accepts:
  - domain: example.s3.amazonaws.com

and run brozzler-new-job job.yml.
