Please double confirm whether your CPU support FLC(flex launch control) feature. If your CPU doesn't support FLC, then you can't use DCAP driver.

Thank you for the reply. This is indeed a problem because I can't understand if my processor is FLC enabled or not.

Reading this, it seems like I can just update my BIOS (a thing I would like to avoid as far as I can).

you can use this command: rdmsr 0x3a, then the command's output value & 0x00020000, if the result was 1, then your platform support FLC.

By the way: to execute command rdmsr, maybe firstly you need to execute: modprobe msr
