It's because of activerecord-import. It expects a non-standard location for the adapter. You can define that location in your app if you'd like.

OOOHHHH... i was looking in the wrong place, that makes total sense.
I've gone through the readme you sent, i'm not quite sure how to fix it.
Do I just call something like this?
ActiveRecord::Import.require_adapter('mysql2_makara')
And where do i put it?
Sorry for the newb questions and thanks a lot for your help. I'm excited to start using makara!
