Here is an example of an elevation tool found on esri's geonet (http://gis.calhouncounty.org/WAB/V1.2/widgets/ElevationProfile/index.html). It is freely available. Could I get a link to the current EnviroAtlas application so that I can compare functionality?

That tool looks very comparable - main difference seems to be the lack of freehand and single point options, but I'm not sure whether those were required by EnviroAtlas or just part of the original flex widget.

Please go ahead and add that widget to this app (push to Develop branch?) and assign this issue to Barb for review and acceptance.

Hi David -
that's the one I used in the demo/graphics. Think they would like the "full
size widget" rather than my "fit into the tab" option as shown in the
powerpoint slides. The widget allows for a better profile view
Thanks! Barb

@brosenbaum the easiest way I know of to do this is to put the Elevation Profile widget out on the map. Is that where you would like to the tool to be located?
from enviroatlas.
well, not exactly on the map - I am talking with Annie today and talk with
her about the template. We have more options now... stay tuned...

Just wanted to check in on this. I have this widget added to the application in my branch. Should I submit a pull request or hold off for now?
from enviroatlas.
Go ahead and submit a pull request, let's work through that merge process
with something straightforward, thanks!
