Consensus is to keep this as standalone widget - has anyone seen an example of a community-developed widget yet? Heard buzz about it being on Esri's radar? Seems like a strong chance we could backburner this until someone else develops it for us.

I think that's the best idea - integrating it into the layer list is way
too much info.

NEPAssist has this functionality for the "Add Demographics" features - more
as a stand alone widget.
