It is... and I've tested it. See:

Not sure how you could get it otherwise - I'd need steps to reproduce as the obvious steps did not work as you experienced.

capital letters should be handled correctly, as the generated files could not be accessed by
IXP-Manager frontend later on. e.g. when you use "BCIX-Total" instead of "bcix-total" in
the "Infrastructure Aggregate Graph Name"

I've forced the form to lowercase all these names to avoid unnecessary confusion. See:

c. Missing lines in mrtg.cfg for Directory[ixp_peering-bcix-total-bits] and pkts

Wondering why there are no mrtg config lines
for the directory for the aggregated graphs?

They're not missing - we just store the aggregate graph details in the top level mrtg directory.

Changing this now would affect a number of live installations so we'll leave it as it is. Plus, you have a workaround with a symbolic link so we're all happy ;)
