I think you can put it at the root of ./abi (It's just a template right?) since it's so general. One thing though; I did performance testing of std::function-based delegates over the impossibly fast C++ delegates, and the std::function ones were slower. But, that was gcc std, so we should test again with yours.

I think there is only one way to implement std::function anyways, since it must be able to hold 3 types of functions. So it ends up holding a virtual function container.

Still, its all part of the SL, and I think people will want the functionality one way or another.

Your delegate.hpp does not work with this SL, yet. I have to implement a few more type_traits at least.

Yes, that's why I haven't used that delegate yet, but a very simple specialized one, only for void(). However, that version won the performance test, giving identical performance as a direct "C" function pointer, so it would be great if you could make it work. But- dont loose any sleep over it; this one is (as far as I can see) totally general, which is nice, but we can do with much simpler solutions if need be.
