Should be; however I don't maintain the ppa myself, that is @Lasall
from apt-fast.
@saiarcot895 would you know if this is possible with your ppa/build recipe?
from apt-fast.
For some reason, this just appeared in my mail.
Not exactly. Multiarch is for (concurrent) installation of libraries of different architectures. If apt-fast
already isn't correctly installing on ARM, then it's more likely an issue with dependencies, as aria2
is building on ARM. I'll test the installation of apt-fast
on an ARM chroot shortly and see what's going on there.
Edit: I mean how the dependencies for apt-fast
are declared.

Apparently, apt-fast
was being built as an architecture-dependent package instead of an architecture-independent package. Expect a fix in roughly 24 hours.

@saiarcot895 I had misspelled your handle when I originally asked, sorry about that. Thanks for looking into this. (I actually haven't used an ARM installation before, but I imagine more people will take advantage of apt-fast on ARM than powerpc nowadays.)

This should now be fixed.
I can now install apt-fast
without doing any architecture forcing/overriding, but I haven't tested it.

@saiarcot895 It works.
@ilikenwf Should I wait until the official PPA is replaced/updated before closing this issue?
from apt-fast.
Closing since issue #58 has been closed.
