You should be able to apply bold by using two asterisks, e.g., Title [1]

I know, but doing it in the tables make the borders shift -> tables not working anymore. Any tips?

Do you have room to remove 2 whitespace characters on either side?

Ok, so I found a different way to make tables which would definitely make
this easier. Whether its worth the time redoing what you've done already, I
don't know. See [1] and an example at [2]. I can help you test it out
tomorrow.
