@aaronbartell Ok that works too. I will be put a link in main README that points back to /docs/README.md. That way [TOC] macro will create the table of contents for the Docs.
I will also git rm docs/main.md & git rm docs/dbPool.md the content of both will be in the new docs/README.md

Unfortunately I don't know of way to accomplish what you're asking.
My vote would be to move the docs from /README.md to /docs/README.md and then put a link to /docs/README.md in the /README.md file.
Btw, great job on the docs.
