I did some digging:
Thank you. I had the same issue. So, I simply changed WIREGUARD_PEERS to PEERS. Problem solved)

I did some digging:
- This is the PR that changed things.
- I tried to run the
init-wireguard-confsmigration locally but it kept starting in client mode. - Looking closer,
docker-wireguarduses aPEERSenv var to determine if the binary should run in client or server mode. - The
wireholeREADME doesn't mention aPEERSenv var, but does mentionWIREGUARD_PEERS. - The only place on GitHub I can find the
WIREGUARD_PEERSenv var is stuff referencingwirehole. - This is where I got stuck because I can't figure out how to run
init-wireguard-confs/runin server mode locally. - Unless there is some magic shell env var string concatenation going on, I'm not sure if
WIREGUARD_PEERSis ever used. 😅

Can confirm, the Docker compose logs also report a few errors.
