I suppose, those panels are Adafruit 32x32 1/16 Scan? Why you are using --led-limit-refresh=200, and WHAT POWER SUPPLY are You using... for x2 (TWO) PANELS, You need at lease, a 5V Power Supply of 10A...

I am using a 5v 10 amp power supply. yes those are the panels I'm using. I'm using the --led-limit-refresh command because it was reccomended in the readme and i've been troubleshooting. All other examples have been working without issues. I've even gotten a different screen mirroring repo to work on my matrices. The utils in this repo are the only thing that has been giving me trouble.

try, with ONLY x1 ONE panel...

If you're using the Adafruit HAT, you need to pass the --led-gpio-mapping=adafruit-hat
flag.
