Interesting problem, but I'm afraid not. I would try to remove the external element that is causing the problem. PhantomCSS provides the ability to hide elements, but 'visibility:hidden' will not effect layout.

If you can't stabilize the problem element within the test perhaps it would be best to use Casper to modify the DOM before the screenshot is taken. Maybe...
