Hi. I added the CasperJs library and the PhantomJS exe to the repo early on in the project's development for convenience only. The repo doesn't provide a runnable bundle for Linux or Mac OSX. You'll need to download and install PhantomJS for your OS, http://phantomjs.org/download.html.
It's not clear from the docs, I need to add better instructions to the README and I'll probably remove the .exe from this repo. CasperJs is probably better included as a sub repo as well.
After installing PhantomJS for your system it should just work. CasperJS is just a JavaScript library that runs in PhantomJS. There is no dependency on NodeJS.
