there is an Exception on regionserver when i execute a search on hindex about hindex HOT 4 CLOSED

Set indexColumns = index.getIndexColumns();

The code assumes atleast one column in the index specification. How an index is there with out any columns being specified? Just confirming the issue.

This has handled in hindex on top of 0.98. This problem is coming because we are not index specification doesn't have any column qualifiers. Instead of fixing this just validating at creation time whether any index specification missing the column qualifiers or not and if yes then throwing exception.

I think we can close this.
