Glad to hear that you had resolved the problem. Google cloud also denied the outgoing port 25 access.

I believe it's related to your local network, it seems your server have problem to connect with gmail.

I've got this problem when I moved from DigitalOcean to Vultr (servers providers).
Vultr blocks the 25 por for outgoing. Some others provider may be doing this as well. In my case I've solved by opening a ticket to them asking to open this por in my account.

yeah, port was blocked ...
and for some reason scaleway requires a hard reboot to apply the change
