Compatibility Database about ppsspp HOT 15 CLOSED

I think a better solution might be to simply go with a wiki, like Dolphin's: http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/ . I'm going to launch one pretty soon.

The wiki can do most things that such an appdb can do, or what do you think?

That would probably be a good middle ground. The only thing I'd be concerned about there is noting which version they are on, but I imagine that can be done with templates. I'll look at the source of that page and Google around to see if I can come up with something similar.

A dedicated system is nicer to use, but only as long as there's a maintainer making sure it works as expected. On the other side a wiki doesn't know, or care, that you are using it for that one task.

In order to create a compatability section I need a few extensions installed.
I'd also need administration account on the wiki to access those extensions.

Doing that through the forms extension above allows the user to easily enter the information and for us to easily display it.

There are many EFnet servers, which one is best or will let you in depends on in which country you live. I usually connect using irc.efnet.se

I like to use efnet.xs4all.nl but irc.efnet.pl also works well. Both are European servers, though.
