@famonsei The reason is on of the dependencies: Alamofire is requiring iOS9. I probably should just use NSURLSession to make network request.

I'll tell you tomorrow at my office wich version of Alamofire I use for my 8.4 starting app but it works

@honghaoz that 's my pod for dependency Alamofire
pod 'AlamofireObjectMapper', '2.1.0'
after update Alamofire get 3.1.5

@famonsei but Alamofire 3.1.5 is using Swift 2.2. You could use 1.0.6
pod 'GooglePlacesAPI', '~> 1.0.6'
