same problem here. newer DDF file gets the Vallhorn lux levels going. but the Home Assistant Deconz addon isn't yet current enough for that (HA: 2.25.3, Deconz: 2.26.3) - might be solved by that
edit: I also needed to use rechargeable batteries before I got useful data.
edit 2: dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin#7454 is where they discussed the missing lux data and solved it.

Hey there @Kane610, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (deconz
) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

There are probably small differences in calculation of light level between phoscon and the integration. This calculation hasn't really changed for 7 years so I think its fine as it is

Hi @Kane610,
just for clarity, the problem reported is the fact that the sensor does not record any change in brightness: it can be in direct sunlight or in total darkness, but the value will always remain the same.
from core.
Yes but you said it was the same in phoscon so it can't be an issue with the integration. You need to report this with deconz devs.

Thanks @Kane610,
could you be so kind as to tell me which link to report the problem to? I apologize, I'm not very expert.
from core.
Sure. Reporting here is probably the best place https://github.com/dresden-elektronik/deconz-rest-plugin

The addon is just a way of packaging deconz and is only published with stable releases so you would have to wait for that as well.
Closing this as it is closed upstream and there is nothing thing to be done with the integration
