Islamic prayer times are not updating daily about core HOT 10 CLOSED

I do not believe that 2024.4.3 included any changes to the Islamic Prayer Times component, however there are known issues with the existing version not updating due to changes in the upstream API (see #115683).

In order to confirm this, can you further describe the behaviour you are seeing - do times never update after the first load/reload, or only update e.g. every second day, or similar? If you can also include a listing of the (stale) prayer times, that would be useful.

All of the entities are stale.

So it's been 2 days since I updated my HA. Yesterday, I tried restarting it and it fixed for the time being..
now today, it didn't update as well - but I didn't restart HA yet, because I expected this question.

I'll post a message here tomorrow (or in couple of hours as it is suppose to refresh the time probably at 12am?) to confirm the pattern of the issue.

@cpfair I've been encountering the same issue since the last Home Assistant update. Reloading the plugin temporarily resolves it, but the following day, the plugin shows the times as unavailable again. All the 5 prayer times and sunrise and sunset times show as unavailable

I am also having the same issue. A restart of YAML sorts it out for a day and then same story. Only started when I updated HA a week or so ago.

So for me it updated automatically today.

btw, when i took the screenshot, it is NOT maghrib time yet, it will happen soon
so the order of dates shown in the tooltip are as follow:

• Actual maghrib time for today
• The time this sensor was updated (it says 1am because i'm not in the same timezone as my HA instance)
• Current time right now

but as you can see, before 19th april, it had 17th april (the day i restarted HA) - it missed updating on the 18th.

Yes, the time on the entity was always available for me - it was never shown as unavailable. Though being stale. 👍🏻

This was ok for a couple of days but didn't update again today.
