Couple things this should actually be in the Android repo instead of the docs.
Also the sensor itself grabs whatever time the app scheduled with Android. It looks like the Samsung clock app is adding a schedule 5 minutes early. We can't do anything about that if their app scheduled it early. Maybe its to trigger a different notification like upcoming alarm?
The calendar also does a notification early which defaults to 15 minutes. The calendar issue is a Samsung only issue as they are overriding the default behavior.
These are all scheduled alarms by the apps you use. You will want to see the data you get and work around that since we are not manipulating the data. The package attribute is provided so you can figure out what makes sense your device and apps.
