Actually, Hoa is in rolling-release. We are actively defining everything to be as much clearer as possible. Unfortunately, Composer does not deal with rolling release projects (because of the minimum-stability option). So we are trying to create a mix between full- and true-rolling release, and date-based (sometimes refered as timed- or scheduled-based) release (note that the “rolling” has disappeared). Consequently, for short, the master will contain the last up-to-date development, which is conform to full- and true-rolling release, but we will automatically create tags each 6 weeks or when we have several noticeable features. Those tags might have a date format, like: Y-m-d-n where n might be a branch version.

Everything is not yet formalized, but we are working on it. If you would like to join the effort, please, subscribe to the mailing-list.
