I noticed that when trying to subtract a Text from a Box.

On this code I would expect the text to be completely in the bounds of the Box.

dilations and erosions would be great!
implement via implicit functions?

openscadpy examples need to be adapted

support for openscad styl extrusion is not there yet

support for minkowsky sums would be awesome
and also needed to fully support openscad

have (dynamically adpated) coarse meshing for preview
and have adjustable detail for stl export

local script should be importable

and include screenshots

cadmium examples need to be adapted

it would be nice to have colored, transparent and unprintable objects

need to support this soon

The QsciScintilla editor is responding slowly (takes 1-2 seconds to change after keypress while line number display changes immediately)

I can reproduce this on:

• one computer with Nvidia graphics (64 bit ubuntu 10.04)
• one computer with ATI graphics (64 bit ubuntu 11.04)
  I can NOT reproduce this on:
• one laptop with Intel graphics (32 bit ubuntu 10.04)

So, I tried this example code:

I can run it without any delay on my affected machines.

I tried removing the 3D view, the python lexer, but with no change.

This is a wild guess: I wonder if the editor gets interfered with the QT main loop or this has something to do with the UI builder.

mark, when a file is changed and unsaved (e.g. add a * to the file name)
also add status line messages, like file saved...
