Alpha channel missing from pixmap entry previews? about copyq HOT 2 CLOSED

The app tries to find suitable format to render in fixed order: SVG, BMP, PNG, JPEG, GIF.

I'll give PNG higher priority so images can be transparent if both PNG and BMP formats are available.

Anyway, you can check available formats (MIME types) by pressing F4 on selected items -- in my case the fix won't help because if I copy avatar image in Chromium web browser, clipboard contains only HTML and BMP -- and the HTML contains link to the transparent PNG. So I have to change display priority of "Web Items" in configuration ("History" tab) to see HTML with the transparent image. Will that help?

Bumping up PNG in priority helped with making the previews in CopyQ
transparent. I didn't know I could check the mimetypes of the items with
F4 until now. I'll be sure to keep that in mind any time I end up
finding funky stuff in previews.
