HIG-4650 active_length should be interpreted as a time
from highlight.
To interpret active_length
as a time, modify the AverageSessionLength
method in schema.resolvers.go
to return a time duration instead of a raw value. Here's a brief overview of the steps:
- Locate the
AverageSessionLength
method inschema.resolvers.go
. - Modify the method to convert the
active_length
value to a time duration.
func (r *queryResolver) AverageSessionLength(ctx context.Context, projectID int) (string, error) {
var avgLength float64
if err := r.DB.WithContext(ctx).Raw(`SELECT AVG(active_length) FROM sessions WHERE project_id = ?`, projectID).Scan(&avgLength).Error; err != nil {
return "", e.Wrap(err, "Error calculating average session length")
}
duration := time.Duration(avgLength) * time.Second
return duration.String(), nil
}
This change ensures that active_length
is interpreted and returned as a time duration.
