Hi,
I'm unable to reproduce this locally.
Which OS are you running? Could you try starting the server with highcharts-export-server --enableServer 1 --logLevel 4
and see if you get a more detailed error?
from node-export-server.
I am running OS X Yosemite(10.10.5). I tried with loglevel 4 and this is what I got:

Which version of node are you running?
I'm still not able to reproduce on OSX 10.11.5. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a machine running 10.10.5, so I can't check if it has something to do with that.

I am not sure what the issue is. It works in Ubuntu but not my OS X. I am closing the issue anyway.
