That's not so easy to detect. Someone might actually define indexOf_String by hand to implement an optimized version of it or something, so we cannot solve this via naming convention.

In fact we cannot distinguish these functions at all, even in Haxe itself. Solving this in the general case would require that the compiler marks the fields. It already does have a special kind for generic class instances, but that's currently not encoded in the XML either.

I've fixed this in core Haxe. These fields are still going to be around if Haxe 3.1 is used, but as I said there's little we can do about this here.
