I suggest reverting #61, since the original EReg was in fact correct - it matches the first occurrence of tabs at the beginning of line, skipping the first line is needed because the tabs of the first line is already trimmed (do not appear in the xml).
Also notice that, if we really want to remove the m
flag, the one at L220 should also be removed...
