Is this caused by an asteroid coming into play as a shard sprite and three blanks? Or is it something about the shard/bullet collision data? OOr just bullet collision?

Seems like it is only related to single shards - not those shard paris that come from asteroid explosions

Issue was fixed by setting the game object's id to SHARD when creating a new shard. This should not be necessary, and could indicate that readings from the the shard table is overlapping with the asteroid table. But for now it is fixed.
