Input Error: There is no script engine for file extension ".js". about nvmw HOT 4 CLOSED

Ahhh... it was because .js files were associated with an app (Notepad++). Probably a good thing to note on the NVMW home page! :)

Is there an alternative fix? I like having .js mapped to a editor vs. trying to run the script by default

I followed the link above, ran the regsvr32 commands, it still did not associate my .js files to the jscript.dll script host. Whats the best way to register *.js extension with script host?

Got it. After regsvr32 run the command from an admin prompt:
assoc .js=JSFile

Andy the codr man. you can associate your js files to your editor, by running the command assoc .js=JSFile does not change which editor opens it. Mine is still opened by webstorm.
