You're absolutely right, is it okay if we stop the daemons on crtl+c ? Or you want the daemons to be stoppable apart from the service?

We run private-bower in background. But it crashed somehow , leave git-daemon and svnserve alive.

Err...Yes, if we manually start private-bower in foreground, the command window will stop waiting for private-bower console output, so we can use ctrl+C to stop it, and it will also stop git and svnserve. But because of we run it in background, the command window will exit immediately, we can only see the running status of private-bower from log file. So we don't have the opportunity to type ctrl+C.
