Having issue populating prices on weekend as

if len(recent_closes) >= 50 and date.today().isoformat() == bar.t.date().isoformat():

is looking for today's date and not calculating any of the indicators

To get around this, I installed pandas-market-calendars (https://pypi.org/project/pandas-market-calendars/) and created a module named market_calendar.py (code below). This has allowed me to set a current_date string variable to most_recent_trading_day() in this and other scripts. There may be more elegant solutions, or ones that will return a datetime object, but this worked for my purposes.

import pandas_market_calendars as mcal
from datetime import date, timedelta

def most_recent_trading_day():
        nyse = mcal.get_calendar('NYSE')
        pastweek = nyse.schedule(start_date=date.today()-timedelta(7), end_date=date.today()) #gets schedule for last week
        return(str(pastweek.tail(1).index[-1])[:10])

from fullstack-trading-app.
