Looks like it can't reach HF. If you want things to work offline (https://github.com/h2oai/h2ogpt/blob/main/docs/README_offline.md#tldr) maybe best way for your case is to run outside proxy first to get models using --prepare_offline_level=2 option mentioned there, for "moderately easy" way and then tar-up that ~/.cache folder, get that onto the proxy computer, and then run in offline mode on the computer under proxy.

I'm not sure. I use proxies like nginx that work just fine. I think the issue is one has to configure the proxy you are using to allow you go reach that location. But I can't be sure what's wrong.
