Use LocalDate type about sqlite-dialect HOT 4 CLOSED

I am not sure this is necessary but you can try to add:

    registerColumnType(Types.DATE, "integer"); // for unixepoch or float for julian day number

here

java.sql.Date <-> SQLite INTEGER should work.
Maybe java.time.LocalDate <-> SQLite INTEGER also works.

I store my dates in the following format: 2022-01-30. But I suppose it would work if I'd use epoch timestamps. Do you think there's an option to convert my format to dates?

You should check your driver first.
For xerial, it seems there is no support for LocalDate.
For sqlite-jna, ... you just have to make sure that the column declared type has the TEXT affinity.
