I have the same Issue, react native 0.70.5

@nstoilov it is due to onViewableItemsChanged being called wrongly on the FlatList at initial render... I tried to play with the viewabilityConfig params values without success... Did you solve it on your side?

Actually onViewableItemsChanged is called after the problem occurs so it's not the root cause of the problem. The problem seems to be in the FlatList itself... Still investigating...

@nstoilov found the solution ! Provide the getItemLayout and the issue will be fixed.
@gusgard I think you could recommend to setup the getItemLayout param in the README to avoid this...
