The original ansible td-agent we cloned from continues to be problematic with Ubuntu (at least). So I have been trying out other ways to install td-agent through ansible and I found this one. With some slight modifications I have it working with our hardened Ubuntu image. Let me know if you have any issues with this, otherwise I will clone this one tomorrow and start integrating it.

@JJediny what is checklist item number 4 above (OSSEC)? Where am I tailing this from? Is this still needed?
It's now collecting from auth.log and syslog
